I just want to make it very clear what it is I am. I consider myself a "Reproduction Artist". I can take anything from a movie star, video game, comic ect and REDRAW/RECREATE the image very well. Sometimes I throw my own style on it, sometimes I don't. I never trace or "steal" any art from anyone. EVERYTHING in my gallery is 100% drawn by myself, whether I used reference pictures or not. And I totally understand the people who say that they want me to leave credit. And I normally try to! My biggest problem is a lot of times people will send me a picture from photobucket or google that just uses a picture to share it with other people so there is never a link or information about where it originated. And because a lot of art is so well done (not to mention I have noooo manga/anime knowledge) I wrongfully assume it is just a screen shot or concept work from the books/movies. That's not all I do, I do have original characters, I've drawn anime versions of myself and friends a million times. Honestly, I'm not interested in creating original characters. I enjoy taking video game/movie characters and putting my own twist on them. A lot of times I will find poses I like, from stock art, anything really and make a new drawing with a memorable character in that pose. Sometimes people know exactly what they want on their blankets/cases so I draw exactly that. If it offends people, I'm sorry, but I see no problem with it. The characters I draw belong to huge media corporations. If they don't like what I do, I encourage them to message me and I will remedy the problem. What I do is no different then cosplay artists. I enjoy the vibrant, colorful characters and sharing them with the world with my unique blankets and pillowcases. It hurts no one and makes life a bit more colorful and fun. This work also allows my to financially support my family while taking care of my daughter. I don't have a college degree, I am retail management and was formally a administrative assistant at a home inspection agency with no college education. My parent's couldn't afford to put me through more then a year of college and I have no interest taking out loans I can never pay back. This is what I do, I enjoy what I do, and will not humor any more negative comments about it. None of my drawings are stolen, I don't believe in printing someone elses work and selling it. That is stealing. I draw every drawing by hand (hours of work) to fit my customer's request. References or not. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and I respect that. But I will not waste my time any longer explaining myself over it. So if you are one of those people that don't agree, nothing negative you have to say is going to change how I feel about it. And all negative comments will be blocked/ignored from now on. Life is too short to waste on negative energy. So if you don't like me, please, for both of our sakes just block and ignore me! LOL. You are not forced to look at my works. I just put stuff on this site to share my love of these characters with the community.
